Tacoma, WA – In a poll conducted September 18-20 of likely voters in Washington’s 9th Congressional District, Adam Smith holds a commanding lead of 19 points (54% to 35%) in a head-to-head match up with Dick Muri.

The poll was conducted by The Benenson Strategy Group, a highly respected national polling firm which used live interviews of 9th Congressional District voters to offer a comprehensive look at voters’ attitudes, not just a quick and automated phone survey.

These numbers are perfectly consistent with the actual vote in the August primary election and clearly refute the accuracy of the recently conducted automated poll done by King5.
